We have much going on this week.
Language Arts: We will read a selection
entitled, "The Emperor's New Clothes." Some of you may be familiar with this story already. We will look to find
the moral of the story as well as work on some of our comprehension skills. We will continue to work on our Open
House Project for Picasso.
Math: We will finish Chapter 6 and take the test on Friday.
Please continue to review those multiplication facts as this will help with the transition into divisioin. Please take
real life opportunities and situations to use Multiplication and Division whenever possible.
Science: We finish our chapter on water environments and will take
our test on Tuesday.
Social Studies: We will begin our chapter on Native Americans and
make connections to our special presentation last week from the Maidu Interpretive Center.
ORAL LANGUAGE: The tradition speech had been assigned. Please see the handout describing this
assignment.
